Hi Gerald,

Why, yes--just this week I ported to Win64. It was actually less painful than I expected, but it did require some major changes to the H5A/Dread/write nodes inner workings. As a user, I don't think you'll notice a difference, except, perhaps, that the nodes actually drop and compile faster. (Now the nodes always convert all inputs to variants before passing them on to h5helper. This functionality is not new to the library, but is only sometimes used in the current version.) I am planning to release a beta from the website in the near future--I expect before Christmas. I was planning to add some other features, but if there is demand I could limit the beta to just the Win64 changes.

For the sake of clarity for other readers, Live HDF5 currently works on 64-bit versions of Windows, but only with 32-bit versions of LabVIEW running on either 32-bit or 64-bit versions of Windows. The beta version will enable it work with 64-bit versions of LabVIEW as well.

Hello,

I have just installed a fresh LabVIEW 2014 (64 bits) and could notice Live HDF5 was only available for 32 bits version of LabVIEW...
Any plans to release a version that will be compatible with LabVIEW 64 bits ?
Best regards
Gerald
