For other readers, here is the image specification guide: www.hdfgroup.org/HDF5/doc/ADGuide/ImageSpec.html. Note that the attributes "CLASS" and "IMAGE_VERSION" are required with values "IMAGE" and "1.2", respectively.

Hi Obewan,

LiveHDF5 does not have this functionality explicitly. However, you could pretty easily create it by following writing the appropriate attributes according to the HDF5 image specification guide . I will take it as a suggestion to add this functionality.
